Ombre for ginger and blonde-haired. What should you know before you dye the hair?

Hello Girls!

Ombre hair style is still trendy! The truth is, I haven’t decided to get this hairdo yet, but I’m thinking about it more and more often. The good news is that ombre suits all hair colours; hence ginger, blonde, brunettes and dark-haired women will look good in this hair style. However, in today’s entry I’m going to describe the hair colour procedure that blond-haired and redheads can carry out.

Ombre for ginger-haired

Can you believe that people with naturally ginger hair account for 2% of the entire world’s population? It’s a pity because this is a very beautiful and original hair colour that looks even better with ombre. Girls who made up their minds and want to go for such a hairdo should choose between strawberry blonde, fair copper or the shade called titian. Basically, the following colours will also compose well: auburn, mahogany and various shades of red. More brave women can give a go to aflame red, vivid pinks and even violet. If you combine ginger, reds, oranges with yellows then surely you’ll make the heads turn. Last but not least, ginger ombre is also available in its baleyage version.

Ombre for blonde-haired

In my humble opinion, ombre applied to blond hair is exceptionally charming. It makes a girl look younger, adds lightness to hair and intensifies our girlish look. Women who would like to dye their strands this way can choose from: platinum, golden shades, beiges, copper, ashy blonde and many, many other similar colours. If you decide to have ombre done, remember that the transition between the shades must be subtle. Moreover, blonde ombre will boost the volume of your hair and when you curl the strands you’ll look just out-of-this-world.

Is it possible to apply ombre at home?

Indeed, you can do this at home! Choose the appropriate dyes and lighteners, divide your hair into small sections, prepare an old towel and a brush to apply the products. How to apply ombre? Apply the lightener to your hair ends and then smear it upwards. It’s all about obtaining this smooth and subtle colour transition. Next, wrap your hair ends with aluminium foil. After more or less 15 minutes apply the lightener to the rest of your hair. Leave the product for 10 minutes and then wash your head precisely. Finally, apply a conditioner or a hair mask; style your hair as usual.
