How much serum, hair mask and oil do you use?

Hi!

The amount of cosmetics applied to the hair depends on various factors. Enough is enough in regard to hair care fits perfectly. How much hair mask, conditioner or oil should you use? Read my post to learn all about that.

Why do you use too much product?

In fact, in the beginning, it is always difficult to determine how much of given cosmetic hair needs. Is there any limit on its absorbability? If you think that’s the case, you may be wrong. On the other hand, the more cosmetics you apply the better for them; after all, you can always rinse down the excess product. Just remember to never give up on some cosmetic right from the start and to never abruptly change the entire hair care routine.

How much shampoo?

Something tells me most of you use too much shampoo. In the meantime, the amount of this cosmetic shouldn’t be bigger than walnut size. Greater amount can cause scalp irritation and hair dryness, sometimes can even lead to dandruff. Thin shampoo with water then massage in the scalp.

How much conditioner?

Surprisingly, the more conditioner you use doesn’t mean the better nourishment for your hair. That is why its amount should be no greater than a walnut. You need to remember that conditioner and hair mask is always applied to omit the scalp. In case of incorrect use, hair may appear to be heavy, greasy and clumped.

How much oil?

Oil should be applied in an amount equal to half walnut size. It needs to go on hair and ends, but never the scalp. Administer oil one strand at the time by rubbing the product in. Otherwise, the hair will look greasy and ugly and the scalp may suffer increased sebum secretion.

How much serum?

The serum is applied in the smallest amount, 1/10 the walnut size. Why? Because serum is applied exclusively on the hair ends, never the scalp. The serum (especially silicone-based one) may contribute to greasy, heavy hair. Similar rules apply in regard to cream serum.
