I ordered the DIY Eyelash Extensions as part of a complete eyelash extension kit. It includes a bonder, a sealer, a remover, and special tweezers. However, you can also order the lashes without all the accessories.
I chose one among eight styles. I wanted my lash clusters to fit the shape of my eye as well as possible. What a positive surprise! In the box, I found cluster lashes in 3 sizes lengths: 10, 12, and 14 mm. I could already imagine all the perfect lash looks I could create for weddings, birthdays, and everyday wear!
The DIY Lash Extensions are soft and pleasant to the touch. I appreciate that the hairs are not stiff. Stiff false lashes may end up looking grotesque. My attention was also drawn to the thin, flexible strip the clusters come on. It allows you to cleverly disguise the connection and attach the wisp so that it fits the lash line perfectly.
I rate my first impressions 10/10!
How to apply DIY eyelash extensions at home? My application with Nanolash!
Wondering how to apply cluster lashes at home, I immediately reached for the instructions included in the package. Everything looked quite logical and simple. The manufacturer claims the application would take no more than 10 minutes. I started the countdown.
I applied a layer of the bonder. Thanks to the special applicator, it applies quickly and easily. Using the tweezers, I grabbed a cluster and placed it about 1 mm away from the lash line. I did the same with the remaining lash clusters and repeated the same process on the other eye.
What are my observations following the first application of DIY Eyelash Extensions? Well:
- the application actually took me less than 10 minutes;
- the bonder became tacky after about 30 seconds, which made the application much faster;
- the clusters blended beautifully with my natural lashes.
In a word, DIY Lash Extensions positively surprised me.

What can I say about the durability of Nanolash cluster lashes?
Before buying these cluster lashes for at-home application, I noticed the manufacturer’s information that the clusters can be worn for 5 days. I took a chance and finished off the application just before my business trip.
After the first five days, I didn’t notice any change in the appearance of the lashes. Upon my return, which was after 8 days, they were also all in place. I did try to take proper care of my false lash clusters though. I cared for the eye area and avoided sleeping on my stomach. It seems that this was the way to prolong the effects of the application.
Ultimately, I decided to take off the lashes. The Nanolash brand indicated that they are intended for single use. I don’t quite agree with that. After taking them off, I noticed that the clusters did not deform or change their shape. I removed the bonder residues with the Nanolash remover. In my opinion, I can safely reuse the clusters.
