It’s another mask that’s able to fix damaged hair. Apart from keratin, it’s rich in liquid silk, which is another ingredient that our hair is fond of. Beyond repair and nourishment, we get super-smooth and hydrated tresses. The Goldwell Kerasilk Control Intensive Smoothing Mask also brings out the lovely shine of hair. I usually use it when I plan on heat styling. It’s easy to apply but it sometimes drips off. I use it once a week tops because more frequent application weighs my tresses down. It has the best effect when I pair it with a shampoo from the same range. Unfortunately the products aren’t cheap so it’s a strain on the budget.
#3 Wella SP Luxe Oil Keratin Restore Mask
This mask, on the other hand, shows that good products don’t need to cost a fortune. I bought a smaller version for a trial but I’ll get a bigger jar next time for sure. There’s a positive that’s the most striking for me: the amazing scent that lasts for many hours. Unsurprisingly, the formula contains keratin. It’s blended with natural oils (jojoba, almond, argan). My hair’s big on oils so the mask works great for me, but I know it may be too heavy for some of you. A large amount is necessary for covering the strands (that’s why I consider getting a bigger jar). As far as results go, the Wella SP Luxe Oil Keratin Restore Mask has an intense smoothing effect so it will be a great pick if you’re bothered by frizz. Beyond that, it adds gloss and slightly moisturizes, as well as repairs from within.
These were my favorite keratin hair masks. I’d tested many more but the above worked best on my tresses.
