During the procedure a hairdresser uses products containing substances which regenerate hair from the inside and outside, smooth the surface of strands and close hair cuticles. The effect? Immediately my hair became smoother, more shiny, softer and healthier. The hairdresser styled my hair to make me look like a celebrity.

If you decide to laminate your hair at home, you need to be aware of the fact that the effect you’re going to obtain will be far from the one produced at a hairdresser’s. Why is that? Simply because you don’t have all the professional products at your disposal. Of course, you can spend a fortune to get those; the choice is yours. However, the truth is that hair lamination procedure is possible to carry out without using the expensive products. Hence, prepare: food gelatine, a bowl with warm water, a foil cap, a towel and a hair conditioner containing either emollients or oils. Next, dissolve a tablespoon of gelatine in three tablespoons of hot water. When the mixture turns into gel add a tablespoon of the conditioner. Apply the mixture to dry strands, put on the foil cap and the towel. Wash the head precisely after 45 minutes.
Which procedure seems to be a better one? Personally, I would be more than happy to visit a hairdresser to get my hair laminated.
