I know that many of you are waiting for this review. How do I know? Because I’m receiving plenty of questions concerning this specific oil, which is Nanoil Castor Oil. Why this oil? I guess because it receives positive reviews, as there are many women out there who consider it a wonderful product.
It’s said that having pure castor oil is enough to grow hair, including lashes and brows. However, is Nanoil the castor oil you should spend your money on? Carry on reading to learn what effects it brought to my hair and nails.
Nanoil Castor Oil: Basic info & first impression
I ordered my bottle from the official Nanoil website. It was not the first beauty product I got from that store, which I believe you know if you’re my regular reader – there are already a few Nanoil products I’ve reviewed for you. And this time again, the oil was delivered super fast. It was secured well, so there was no spillage, no leakage.
Unlike most cosmetic oils you can find in pharmacies and drugstores, Nanoil offers a 50-milliliter bottle, not 15 or 30 as it’s common for other brands. And it doesn’t even cost more. The texture is pleasant and fast-absorbing. It takes just a few seconds to spread it evenly on whichever body part you want: hair, face, nails, brows… you name it. I don’t know how they did this but Nanoil Castor Oil seems to be somehow lighter and less dense than a typical castor oil, which is a massive plus.
Does Nanoil Castor Oil improve lashes and brows?
Let me answer this question straight away: yes, it does, and it does it in an impressive way. Naturally, don’t expect to see the effects in a week or two. Hair growth is a complex process that needs time, therefore you better be patient. Keep using the oil every day. Massage it into the scalp, apply to the eyelashes, put on the eyebrows.
In most cases, I let the oil sit on my hair for no longer than 15 minutes. Then I take it off using a regular shampoo. I think it took me six weeks to make my hair more beautiful, nourished and somehow thicker. I also noticed less of my hair falling out, which is truly amazing. Brows and lashes? The same effect! They are visibly longer and fuller-looking. On top of that, they seem to be darker, which is a result I didn’t expect to get, but I’m absolutely happy with.
Alternative uses of castor oil
It’s mind-blowing how versatile one oil can be! To me, castor oil should be considered as:
- a remedy for damaged and thinning hair
- a natural eyelash and eyebrow conditioner
These are two main applications that castor oil is famous for. Yet, there is more to this oil than most of us think. For example, you can use it to improve the appearance of your skin. Massage it to the thighs to reduce cellulite and stretch marks. Again, you need to be persistent, but the regularity pays off. To me, it sounds like a tiny sacrifice to take in order to erase these nasty blemishes from off the skin.

If you have problems with brittle nails, you may give castor oil a try, too. You can either rub the oil onto the plates, the same way you do this with a hand cream. You can also do a nail soak.
