Let’s hide imperfections: Tarte ‘Shape Tape Contour’. Is it one of the best cosmetics in my drawer?

Hello!

It was long since I’ve been struggling with skin imperfections. I can’t simply clear them up anyhow. Many beautifying treatments, dermo-cosmetics and drugs bought at a pharmacy’s turned out to be powerless. Thus, the final solution I’m left with is hiding all the blemishes, acne and dark circles under eyes with make-up. In order to do this the right way, I use Shape Tape Contour concealer by Tarte. How does it work for daily make-up?

What is Tarte concealer useful for?

I apply Shape Tape Contour by Tarte in two ways. Firstly, I use it to contour my face and secondly, to camouflage skin imperfections. I find the product perfect in both cases. Actually, I have two shades of the cosmetic: light medium and medium. Both colours complement one another and help me shape the face by making it visually slimmer and enhancing its assets (nose and eyes). To camouflage skin imperfections I use the lighter shade because it blends perfectly with the colour of my complexion. Basically, it delivers very good coverage; it masks acne, sun-induced pigmentation marks, dark circles under eyes, reddens and broken capillaries.

I try to do it perfectly and once manage to melt the cosmetics into the foundation, I fix the look with a pressed powder.

Then, I grab a small brush and distribute the cosmetic evenly around the blemish. I do my best to make the product invisible – I must blend it with the foundation flawlessly.
