How to cure acne?
I present below a few ingredients contained in cosmetics and food that will help with your fight with acne. Remember that these may not work as effectively as antibiotics prescribed by the dermatologist. Nonetheless, it does not mean that are unable to improve your skin’s condition. Try:
1. Niacin (also known as vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid)
It holds anti-inflammatory action and regulates sebum secretion. It has a beneficial impact on hyperpigmentations and red skin patches – speeding up healing and regeneration. Niacin stimulates the skin to ceramides production, which is known to create a protective external barrier.
2. Azelaic acid and its derivative azeloglycine
It is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and exfoliating substance. It regulates sebum secretion and inhibits the pigment responsible for hyperpigmentation in the skin. Depending on the concentration, it can be used for rosacea and sensitive skin.
3. Yeast
It consists of vitamin B, folic acid, zinc, magnesium, iron, potassium. Yeast applied in the form of a face mask will inhibit sebum secretion and is antibacterial. Yeast can also be injested in form of a drink – it is great way to strengthen hair.
4. Zinc and sulfur
Zinc regenerates skin and regulates the work of sebaceous glands. The deficit of zinc weakens skin making it subjectable to inflammations. On the other hand, sulfur is antibacterial and exfoliating so it helps with the elimination of blackheads and fights against dirty skin.
5. Licorice
It has anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatically action. It inhibits sebum secretion and inflammations. Licorice prevents water in the epidermis, whitens and causes depigmentation.
