Now listen to the story I have for you 🙂 I will tell you about what in make-up is worth your time and you should always do so that it looks the most beautiful and was made as fast as possible… How to put on the make-up to avoid ‘fakeness’ effect and – God forbid – to not make yourself look older. Enjoy!
Make-up secrets by me 😉
1. Put on the foundation correctly
Ha! Probably to many of you it sounds cliche, but then perhaps you may want to talk about how long-lasting your make-up is after a few hours of wear? Wellllll, I know that many of you tend to complain about cosmetics not being as long-lasting as they should, but have you considered whether you, for example, apply your foundation correctly?
The secret is in the very first layer: do not use the tapping motion as many of you do, but spread it just like a setting coat, really. This way product will get in all the pores and curves of the face. It will cover all uneven areas (obviously, do not go overboard with it). Only when you get to the second layer use the tapping motion. So, is it better? No wrinkles, no visible pores. Your make-up will be way more long-lasting. Amazing!
2. Pimples and blackheads after the foundation use
You use the foundation and claim that it clogs your pores, messes up your skin and in general is just bad? Sometimes, it is not entirely the foundation fault, but incorrect face cleanse. To be true most of us use micellar liquid and won’t even wash it down from the face and that is a serious mistake because of micells that remain on the face and attract dirt, sebum, bacteria. Then inflammations and pimples are inevitable. It is not how it should look like. Every time you use micellar make-up remover remember to just remove it using facial toner. You’ll see the difference to your skin condition in no time, your make-up quality will improve and your foundation will apply way better. Obviously, all of it is in place considering that the foundation you use is in fact not that horrible, which can also be the cause and it can trigger an allergy. Such products happen too.
3. Eyeshadows applied without eyeshadow primer
Boo, a serious mistake, for real. Such eye make-up will never look good, eyeshadows won’t blend and the color depth is not properly shown – remember that eyeshadow primer was discovered for a reason. Well, this is it. My friend once told me that eyeshadow primer is for (and I quote) ‘old ladies with terrible eyelid to smooth it out’. No, it doesn’t. Eyeshadow primer is a base that allows colors to look better on the skin. Try to apply make-up to an eyelid with primer and the other without it. You’ll see the difference for yourself. Luckily, eyeshadow primer doesn’t cost that much and everyone can afford it. Even those affordable ones from your local drugstore have great quality.
4. Mascara clumps eyelashes
Yes, there are mascaras that tend to be very sticky and can seriously clump your eyelashes even with the first layer. However, in most cases, we are the ones to blame. Confess, right here and now to yourself: do you clean your mascara wand regularly? Exactly. Meanwhile, you should wash it once in two weeks with gentle hypoallergenic soap or baby soap. Okay, at least do it once a month. Most wands have not felt the wash since you bought them. No wonder that mascara clumps eyelashes since excess product gathers on it day by day. Clean your wand once in a while and… see for yourself how much it can change your mascara.
