It is common fact that each season focuses on promoting something new, interesting and something that will compel you. At the beginning, it is only the seasonal trend, but it happens that it becomes timeless and makes a part of the history, or just stays with us for few following seasons. Many make-up ideas and others we just adapt creating our own style – and that is what I’m taking about! Listen up, this summer several interesting trends have come up. I found these the best that have a chance to survive the autumn with us… or maybe these will stay with you forever and become your hallmark?
1. Make-up with a strong focus on eyes and lips. You no longer have to choose between the intense lipstick and eyelid. This summer trend is to emphasise both. However, you have to remember that matte lips are trendy no more and in its place enter highly shiny “watery” lip gloss and lipstick. Eyes supposed to sparkle, but it is best to quite dark colours on the eyelid — these do not go well for the summer hot days.
2. Matte and gloss — i.e. face contouring making your skin appear skimmed with the sun. These parts you want to hide treat with the matte powder, while cheekbones, forehead and brow ridge should shimmer and draw attention. Bathed in the sun goddess — it does have a sound to it, don’t you think? Minor tip — the highlighter should have a darker shade to also imitate the tan. You can apply it on eyelids instead of eye shadow.
3. Long, sleepless, summer nights are great because leave us with numerous marvellous holiday memories. However, the intense summer time and life against the alarm clock can take its toll on you. Then, beside the rest of the day and healthy foods, you can be saved by… the blusher. The best would be a shimmering version, the same goes for the bronzer. The blusher can in a hasty manner provides skin with healthy and fresh appearance. The hot trend of this season is the use of the blusher instead of eye shadows. Versatile cosmetics which allow you to save time — this is what we like, especially in the summer when free space in your luggage is deficient article 😉
