Full body repair within an evening? Yes, it is possible!
Instead of going to spa resorts and spending a fortune, we can treat ourselves to home spa from time to time. The pandemic #stayhome time seems to be ideal moment for giving it a go. We avoid beauty and hair salons but we can do some game-changing treatments at home. Keep reading to check how!
HOME SPA BENEFITS
- You don’t need to wait for free slots at the beauty salon or struggle to find an hour off in your busy schedule.
- You do home spa whenever you like, for as long as you want, and as often as you wish. There are no limitations when it comes to the number of treatments and the time you spend on them.
- At home you create the atmosphere you like and feel freely.
- With a face mask on or with the feet in a nourishing bath, you can catch up on films or books. Nothing comes in your way. Pure relaxation.
So, just do it!
How to create a spa at home?
Home spa: bath
A bath by candlelight? Yes, please! Choose soy candles which don’t give off the toxic stearin. Add essential oils, bath bomb or salt (Dead Sea salt for example) to warm water. Use a bubble bath if you like. Play some mood music. Apply a mask on hair (rich in keratin which perfectly repairs) and enzyme scrub on the face. Now you’ve got 20 minutes to relax. After that rinse the products. Wash your body using a shower gel or cream. It’s great if it is jam-packed with nutrients, and allantoin, panthenol, vitamin A or minerals. You can use a body scrub if you like.
Home spa: body care after bath
After getting out of the tub, your skin will be very dry if you don’t apply a lotion. Get one which has moisturizing and smoothing effect and is enriched with shea butter or other oils. If you’re bothered by stretch marks or cellulite or your skin loses plumpness, rub anti-cellulite and firming balm in the thighs and belly. Why don’t you massage the body? It stimulates the lymph flow and improves the appearance and condition of skin.
Home spa: face and feet
Wipe skin toner across the face and apply a mask. A moisturizing, relaxing or refreshing mask works best. Naturally you can do it yourself if you haven’t got one at home. Mash a banana and mix it with two spoons of plain yoghurt. That’s it! This is the easiest mask in the world and it brilliantly nourishes the complexion. Put your feet in a bowl filled with warm water and foot salt (table salt will do too). Water and baking soda make a good match for feet as well. Use a pumice stone gently to get rid of dry dead cells. Apply a foot cream and rub natural oil into the toenails.
Have a lovely evening!
